The Confirmation Class meets this morning in the Youth Suite. Taking a break, students attend worship with the class or their families, then return downstairs for a snack and the second half of their discussion.

Compassionate Friends provides comfort, hope and support to families experiencing the death of a
child and helps others better assist the grieving family. Website: www.compassionatefriendsnj.org. This group meets at PCCT and is open to all members of the community. Pre-registration is

Calling all knitters and crocheters – beginners, experts, and anyone in between are welcome!  The prayer shawl ministry will be meeting in Griswold Parlor on a new date. Refreshments will be provided, so we can sip, stitch, chat, and learn to knit.  Yarn and needles will be provided if you’re a beginner or don’t have a project in the works.  Please contact the church office for details.

Members and friends interested in an opportunity for regular bible study are invited to an organizational meeting on Wednesday, Sept 18 at 9:30 am in Halldorson Hall. We’ll discuss format, topics, and planning for the fall. Led by Pastor Tom, this group will meet regularly on Wednesday mornings.

Youth are invited to join us for mid-week fellowship and dinner the first and second Wednesdays of each month.

Save the date for our Caring for the Community Concert on the front lawn of the church with music by Blue Soul. Bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and your favorite picnic foods. We will provide grilled hot dogs and soft drinks. We are planning to have some children’s activities. BYOB. Free will offerings will be donated to Helping Hands of Chatham.
