Chatham Presbyterian Church Invites Community to

“Welcome Back Sunday” on September 7

Free Picnic, family fun to follow 10 AM worship service

Church expands programs for children, youth and families

The Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township (PCCT) invites community members of all ages to join them on Sunday, September 7, as the congregation launches a new season of faith, fellowship and community service at its 240 Southern Boulevard location.

Following 10 AM worship, the church will hold its annual picnic on the front lawn, featuring games, a bouncy house and a bubble party for kids. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, side salads, and lemonade will be provided free of charge.

“Our church community looks forward to reconnecting and warmly welcoming neighbors as we kick-off an exciting new program year,” said The Rev. Thomas A. Brown, pastor of PCCT.

He continued, “The congregation is particularly enthusiastic about our renewed focus on  offering a wide range of engaging and rewarding programs for children, youth and families. We have a full staff in place creating a wealth of opportunities, including Sunday church school, midweek fellowship and music programs, confirmation classes, middle- and high-school youth fellowships, and special events for various age groups. All are invited to join us and learn more.”

Rev. Brown noted that PCCT provides nursery care every Sunday during worship, and that the church also offers a number of enriching adult programs encompassing fellowship, education, music and community service opportunities.
