Pastor’s Bible Study: The Book of Ruth
Wednesday Mornings at 9:30 am, beginning September 16, Theos Room
Members and friends are invited to join us for an informal, conversation-based study of the book of Ruth. This short, beautifully crafted book tells the story of two women - Ruth and her mother-in-law Naomi. After both are widowed, Ruth chooses to cast her lot with Naomi and follow Naomi's God, a decision that reshapes both their lives and, ultimately, threads its way into the lineage of King David. Along the way the study will explore themes of loyalty, belonging, and how God's providence moves through ordinary acts of faithfulness and generosity. All are invited to join us as we explore this beloved four-chapter book together.

Have you ever played strictly by the rules, only to feel that life is not fair when someone else receives an unexpected break? Join us in the Sanctuary following worship for a sermon discussion led by Pastor Tom Brown as we dive into two challenging scriptures: Jonah 3:10 - 4:11 and Matthew 20:1 -16. In both stories, God’s radical generosity offends those who feel their favored status was earned through hard work and obedience. Whether you want to unpack the morning message, share your perspective, or wrestle with tough questions in a warm community, all are welcome!
