Finance Administrator/Bookkeeper (FA)
Position Description
- The Finance Administrator (“FA”) position is a part-time position requiring 12-15 hours per week (this varies by time of year. Additional 10-15 hours during January to tie out accounts) to be held by a non-member only. The FA will report to the Church Administrator while working closely with the PCCT Treasurer. In addition to working with the Treasurer, the Assistant Treasurer, the Financial Secretary and the other financial related committees serving PCCT, the FA also supports the ministerial staff and other teams of the church as required.
- Must have experience with electronic accounting program and be proficient in the use of Excel;
- Non-profit entity work experience is preferable;
- Flexible schedule. Minimum of one day a week on site.
Director of Music/Organist
The Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township seeks a part-time Director of Music to join its dynamic staff team and lead a vibrant, intergenerational music ministry for its welcoming, inclusive congregation of 500, which celebrates the glory of God through worship, fellowship, and service. The Director of Music provides creative and spiritual leadership for all aspects of the
church’s music program, including directing choirs and instrumental groups, playing the organ and piano for Sunday worship and seasonal services, and collaborating closely with the pastor, staff, and volunteers to shape meaningful worship experiences that inspire faith and community.
We are looking for someone with strong skills in organ, piano, and choral conducting, along with experience leading church music programs. A degree in music is strongly preferred. The position averages 25 hours per week, which includes weekly practice time and regular office hours. Salary is commensurate with experience and benefits are available.
