Calling all knitters and crocheters - beginners, experts, and anyone in between are welcome! The prayer shawl ministry meets on the third Monday of each month during the program year. Refreshments will be provided, so we can sip, stitch, chat, and learn to knit. Yarn and needles will be provided if you're a beginner or don't have a project in the works.

This four-part chorus provides weekly worship support and welcomes new members of all musical abilities! The choir also presents special music programs, including our annual Lessons & Carols Service.
The Chancel Choir is led by our Director of Music, Matt Zabiegala, and is open to high school youth and adults of all ages.

This five-octave handbell ensemble is open to new and experienced ringers, high school through adult. Handbells are a great introduction to music for those who have never been part of an organized choir. Contact Matt Zabiegala for more information.

Our combined Nursery and Pre-K class is available each Sunday throughout the program year for infants, toddlers and children not yet in Kindergarten. The Nursery is generally open by 9:45 am so parents may drop off their youngest children before heading upstairs for worship. Our Nursery is staffed by a professional childcare provider with additional help from church volunteers when needed. In addition to active play, short and simple lessons are provided for Pre-K aged children.

Through hands-on learning, games, activities and small group discussions, our curriculum provides elementary age children with opportunities to grow in their faith. A Communion Celebration class invites children to learn more about the sacrament. Engraved Bibles are given to third graders at the beginning of the program year and are available upon request for any child who does not have one.

In honor of All Saints’ Day on November 1, our theme will be “Remembering the Saints.” As part of the service, we’ll share stories of spiritual mentors and friends who have guided and inspired us. Jon us as the PCCT community gathers for an informal, interactive, and inter-generational worship service centered around a shared meal. Seasonally themed prayers, music, and a brief message will invite those who attend into the sustaining presence of God as a source of hope and strength. There is nothing you need to bring. Expect to be fed in body, mind, and spirit and to be on your way home no later than 7:15 pm. Dinner Church dates for 2026 are: Jan 14, Feb 18 (Ash Wed), and May 6.

Led by the Deacons and Pastor Tom this contemplative service of candlelight and music provides an opportunity to honor and give thanks for our departed friends and loved ones. During the service, we will take time to remember by name those who have recently passed and those long-missed during the holiday season. All are welcome to join us as we acknowledge our grief and claim the hope we share in God’s eternal love.

The event is sponsored by the Interfaith Council of the Chathams and Green Village and will be held at a local congregation. Offerings of non-perishable food items will be received for Chatham United Methodist Food Pantry; monetary donations will go to the Chatham Emergency Squad.
