Welcome to PCCT Prays Together
VIRTUAL PRAYER CIRCLE – Fridays at 11 am – 11:30 am
Gather together on Fridays beginning on May 1. Our time will open with a moment of silence and then a prayer. Those who wish may share their joys or concerns and we will raise up the prayers requested by those who cannot be with us or who don’t wish to share during this time. We will end in prayer promptly at 11:30 am. The hope is that this will be a sacred space for us to breathe, refresh, and renew and to remember that we are not alone in this dark time. We shall make it, one day at a time, one moment at a time, together, carried through by God’s Love. To join, contact the church office HERE
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)
We are called to be messengers of Hope, but how can we be hopeful in the face of such dark times? Pain, sickness, disease, division, uncertainty, and fear surround us. Hopefully, the offerings for Summer will help us to turn back to the source of all deep hope – to God – and to allow God to plant the seeds of Hope in our hearts. There are an infinite number of ways to be a beacon of Hope to this world and perhaps as you experience these selections, you will find your own way to shine a light in the darkness.
The material given below is designed to support you in your prayer life. The first 4 sections are usually centered around a given theme with an ending prayer practice and gently encourage going deeper into your relationship with God and yourself. The Friday prayers offer more ways to be with God as we pray in community wherever we are. The materials offered below contain present and past selections and are printable should you want hard copy. Hopefully, these suggestions will lead to introspection, comfort, peace, and a closer relationship with God.
