Even as the New Year 2022 begins, filled with promise and hope, the COVID-19 pandemic is resurging to new heights of transmissibility. In order to protect the most vulnerable among us from becoming ill, we encourage everyone to wear face masks, get their vaccine and booster shots, test for illness before attending group events, and practice social distancing and good hygiene. We continue to worship every Sunday morning at 10am and invite you to use your discretion as to whether you choose to join us by internet via livestream or attend in-person with all mask and social distance safety precautions in effect.
As I announced in worship on Sunday, we are postponing our January fellowship activities and moving our Session, Deacon Board, and committee meetings to virtual Zoom video-conferences. Our Annual Meeting on January 30th will be held immediately after worship, either in-person in the sanctuary, or remotely on Zoom, depending on the transmission rates measured mid-month when announcements about the meeting will be sent out. The deacons have elected not to hold the winter breakfast this year as a further precaution. Please be safe and be patient as we weather this latest storm.
Wishing you good health,
