The mission of adult education programs is to provide a supportive community that helps adults grow in faith.
Adult Education
Our Sunday morning speaker series provides a variety of topics for adult learning. These Adult Education “Faith Forward” opportunities are held directly following worship in Halldorson Hall.
Faith, Friends & Chocolate Book Club
Led by Robin Batten Bi-weekly, Thursdays 3:00—3:40 pm (Zoom)
During our time together, friends from near and far gather to spend time sharing our lives and discussing the wisdom found in Rachel Naomi Remen’s book, My Grandfather’s Blessings. Each short chapter of the book contains life lessons from her grandfather who was an Orthodox rabbi and from her own experiences as a cancer specialist. The most important part of our time together is spent listening to and being supportive of each other as we navigate the ups and downs of our lives. Thursdays on Zoom are special to all of us. We welcome new members and would love for you to join us! Please contact Robin Batten if you are interested in being part of our group!
