Church Support Groups

Groups offered by the church and led by members of the congregation.

A New Day – Widows’ Support Group

First Tuesday of the month (Sept – May), 12:30 – 2:00 pm in Halldorson Hall

This dynamic group of warm, caring women provides support for those who are widowed. Join us for fellowship, discussion and lunch on the first Tuesday of each month (except when pre-empted by holidays). Please bring your lunch; beverages and dessert will be provided.

Healing Partners Cancer Support Group

All cancer survivors are warmly encouraged to participate in our supportive group.  Please confirm schedule with church office.

Community Support Groups

The following groups meet at PCCT and are open to all members of the community. Pre-registration is not required.

Compassionate Friends

Third Sundays (Second Sundays in June and December), 7:00 pm, Griswold Parlor

Compassionate Friends provides comfort, hope, and support to families experiencing the death of a child and helps others better assist the grieving family.  A worldwide candle-lighting service in memory of loved ones is held each December.  Click here for more information.

Morris County Nutrition Project

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 am – 1:00 pm in Mulford Hall

The Morris County Nutrition Project serves full hot lunches to all interested seniors age 60+. There is no sign-up or reservation required. Participants are asked for a $2 donation. Come join community members for a nutritious meal and conversation. The program also provides home delivery of meals daily.
