During the seasons of Advent, leading up to Christmas, and Lent, in which we prepare ourselves for Easter, the church offers unique worship services and other special events that help us reflect on the joys and responsibilities that come with being people of faith. From our Lenten Faith Journeys services to the not to be missed Cookie Walk, there is something for everyone during our most meaningful times of the year.

Advent & Christmas

Advent “Advent” means coming or arrival. Holy Week & Easter

Maundy Thursday Over the years, a variety of experiential worship services have been observed on Maundy Thursday. Recently, we have offered “Journey to Jerusalem,” which reenacts key events in Jesus’ final days, culminating with the Last Supper at which we take communion together. Lent

PCCT invites you to choose your faith journey for Lent … Each Wednesday in Lent, PCCT offers an opportunity for education, fellowship and worship for the entire family. For adults, Reverend Halldorson and Pastor Tom lead classes and discussions based on topical books. Families then gather for a Soup Supper followed by a Lenten worship service. Nursery care is also available.

Service of Remembrance

Led by Pastor Tom and our Deacons, this contemplative candlelight service invites worshippers to remember the people, places, and experiences that have shaped their lives. Candles are lit to remember loved ones as participants invoke the love and presence of God which remain constant during the joys and sorrows of the holiday season.
