Cantate: Vocal choir for youth grades 5 and up. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 5:45-6:30. We will sing in church about once a month.

Please email me if your children/youth wish to participate. Rehearsal times can be adjusted for members’ schedules, so please contact me even if the times above don’t work for you. Kids are also welcome to join for only part of the year (eg. Christmas/Easter) if they can’t commit to a full year. I hope you can join us for some fun music-making and fellowship!

No experience needed for either group – our Associate Music Director, Janice Williams, will instill a love of music in your children while teaching them the basics of singing and ringing. Please contact her for more information.

Faith, Friends and Music

We are excited for the second year of Faith, Friends & Music each Wednesday from 4:15-5:30 pm for K-3rd graders. This faith and music enrichment opportunity combines scripture-based stories, hands-on creative activities, art projects, games, and music into a fun-filled afternoon. The music portion consists of an energetic youth choir perfect for kids just beginning to sing and a novice bell choir which helps children learn bell choir fundamentals using tone chimes and handbells. The children have the opportunity to lead worship with the children’s music groups, Psalm Singers and Joy Ringers.
